Gregory Rohland
Chief Executive Officer
With over 20 years in the development and investment
industry, Greg Rohland is experienced in all facets
of the real estate industry. Mr. Rohland provides
vision and direction for the Kingsway Group of
Companies and is its founder. His extensive real
estate development background includes large-scale
commercial projects, multi-unit residential construction,
land acquisition, land development, investment
negotiations, and investment financing. Mr. Rohland
focuses on both the company’s own projects
and Kingsway’s equity investments in other
developer’s projects.
Kenneth
E. King | PQS, AScT
Vice President of Project Development
For the past 30 years, Ken has been intimately
involved with the construction and real estate
development industry within Alberta and British
Columbia. Working as a Vice President of Development,
Manager of Construction and Development, Development
Manager, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Construction
Manager, Contractor, Development Officer and Consultant
now and throughout his career, Ken has had a long
history in dealing with successful building projects
in all categories of the industry.
Larry
Timlick
Vice President of Corporate Planning
Larry Timlick has over 23 years of management
and technical sales experience, the last 13 years
of which were spent at Cisco Systems Canada.
At Cisco, Larry and his Canadian office were
the recipient of numerous awards
As the first Cisco Systems employee in Western
Canada, Larry expanded the business and opened
offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Regina
and Winnipeg.
Larry is a director of Stage Capital Corp and
CounterPath Solutions, Inc., a developer
of award-winning, carrier-grade VoIP and Video
over IP SIP softphones for telecom and Internet
telephony service providers, cable operators,
and IP-PBX manufacturers.
Doug
Taylor
Vice President of Sales
Doug is an entrepreneur with over 20 years
of sales, marketing and business management
experience. He has founded, managed and sold
businesses in the retail, wholesale and technology
sectors. Doug earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary
Studies from Trent University before starting
a career in sales. He is responsible for investor
relations, project sales and marketing.
Gary
J.H. Timlick | C.A.
Chief Financial Officer
Gary graduated from the University of Manitoba
where he earned his Bachelor of Commerce {Hon.},
and is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years
of business experience. Gary spent eleven years
with a public accounting firm working in Winnipeg
and Sydney, Australia. In 1991he joined James
Richardson & Sons Ltd. as Corporate Controller. In
1996, he was appointed the CFO of Manitoba Pool
Elevators, and carried on in this position when
the company merged with Alberta Pool in 1998 to
form Agricore Cooperative Limited. Gary served
as the CFO of Agricore for three years until its
merger with United Grain Growers to form Agricore
United, at which time he was appointed to the position
of Managing Director, Corporate Development and
Investor Relations. In 2002, Gary joined
Loewen Windows as CFO and in 2004 was appointed
Senior Vice President, Sales and Operations for
Loewen Windows.
Christine O’Malley
Vice
President of Special Projects
Christine has
managed the day-to-day affairs of the Kingsway
Group’s of Companies for ten years and
works closely with Mr. Rohland and Mr. Timlick.
Her responsibilities include management and
coordination of daily operations, project management,
procurement of construction products and services,
pricing and contract negotiation with vendors
and subcontractors and is in charge of monitoring
and maintaining project budgets. |
