Recent News
July 17, 2008 – Greg Rohland (right), founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kingsway, congratulates Mike Raino. Mike won $2,500 from Kingsway for particpating in the Clicks for Kids campaign, a promotion which benefits the CKNW Orphans' Fund. This fund has become one of the major sources of grants for children's organizations in the Lower Mainland, helping children with special needs. The fund operates without a base of community volunteers, relying on the employees of radio station CKNW and Directors of the Fund for its fundraising efforts.
October 23, 2007 – Indigo
launched their sales day that ended with outstanding results of $70M in
sales. This high end project of 171 condominiums located on Lake Osoyoos,
BC is Kingsway’s jewel in their project portfolio.
October 7, 2007 – Kingsway enters into negotiations
with major oil company to lease 121 units in our newest Townhome project,
Millennium Gardens, located in Ft. McMurray, AB.
September 23, 2007 – Kingsway today started construction
on Millennium Gardens — Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. Millennium
Gardens is a 121 unit townhome project under construction in Fort McMurray,
where Kingsway and its partners have recently and successfully completed
a similar townhome project. Millennium will provide rental units to the
local market. The project value is $75M.
April 16, 2007 – Kingsway is pleased to announce
the first quarter sale of undeveloped land in Moreno Valley, California
to ProLogis.
February 5, 2007 – Kingsway Group recently entered
into a purchase contract with Maestro Management
for the sale of two assisted-care living facilities, John Alfred Manor
and Ross Place, located in Victoria, British Columbia.
